HB505 pilot project to pull over any foreign truck in the state to make sure they are in compliance with all the safety, environmental, and other regulations that any American truck would have to conform to. This bill has had three hearings and is waiting for a committee vote so that it can come to the House floor for consideration.

Next week we will have up for a vote HCR 34, which is a resolution expressing opposition to any proposed law that would establish a federal insurance regulatory administration. State insurance regulation is more responsible to the people - we cannot drift towards massive national bureaucracy regulating insurance.

We are asking for a vote in committee this week for our bill to mandate that the Commercial Drivers License test be given in English only without the use of an interpreter. Our signs are in English, our drivers must read English for the safety of all Ohio motorists.
